Trust Talks in Ipswich

Feb 5, 2023, 9:30 AM – 11:00 AM

Learn about the important work of The National Trust of Australia (Queensland), and how to become involved.

For our first Trust Talk of 2023, we invite you to discover the focus of the National Trust in Queensland, the heritage properties it manages, and how you can become involved in the important work of preserving and protecting the natural, cultural and built heritage of our state!

The speakers are Erin Millar, Heritage Marketing Manager at the Trust Head Office, and Phillip Tanner, Heritage Manager, based at the Brisbane office. They will speak about the work of the Trust and the many benefits of becoming a member. There will be ample time for questions at the end of the presentation. We also invite you to join us for morning tea at the conclusion of the talk. You do not have to be a National Trust member to attend.

All members are invited to attend the Annual General Meeting and General meeting which follow morning tea. At the AGM, committee positions are vacated and a new committee will be elected.

The Talk begins at 9:30 am at 1 Nicholas Street, Ipswich, on Sunday, February 5, 2023, and concludes at 10:30 am. The Branch AGM begins at 11:00 am. Our thanks to the Ipswich City Council for its generosity in making the Event Space at 1 Nicholas Street available to the branch.
